A & K Innovations design team often collaborates closely with other designers and architects in order to transform their vision into reality. The collective expertise at A & K INNOVATIONS provides the innovation and insight that many other engineering companies lack. Examples of previous projects include the construction of the 90m spire at Q1, Building Maintenance Units for high rise apartment blocks, re-profiling of heavy engineering tools such as sugar cane crushers, networks of fixed crowd safety barriers at major theme parks, powered maintenance carriages for the underside of bridges………and many more.

A&K Innovations is a scaled down version of the original A&K Engineering has been operating on the Gold Coast since February 1985.

We are now made up of 2 owner operators that specialise in providing quality products & services to a select client base. Services include general engineering, mechanical fitting, machining, Design drafting, welding & fabrication of most metals.

Our client base is diverse & ranges from international performing artists, elevator companies, large & small construction companies to shopping centres & monorails.

Ned Neatherway: Over 40 years experience in designing, building, manufacturing or repairing machinery & structures.

Jeff Jones: 26 years experience in designing, building, manufacturing or repairing machinery & structures.
